OLSHF is thrilled to announce a year-long celebration for our 100th Anniversary of "Keeping the Promise" (KTP)! This milestone is an opportunity to showcase the incredible impact Lions Clubs in MD-36 have made in their communities for a century—and continue to make today.

We invite every Lions Club in MD-36 to join us in commemorating this historic anniversary by participating in or organizing your own KTP Day events throughout 2025. These events are a wonderful way to generate awareness, build support, and inspire new members and supporters in your local community.

KTP Days are community-focused events designed to highlight the work of Lions Clubs in Oregon and Northern California. Whether you create a new event or enhance an existing one, the possibilities are endless! In previous years, Lions Clubs have hosted:

  • Pancake breakfasts

  • Membership drives

  • Local baseball games

  • Crab feeds

  • Spaghetti dinners

  • Fishing tournaments

  • 4th of July celebrations

For 2023, 23 Lions Clubs participated, and in 2024, we saw 22 Clubs join in. Let’s make 2025 our biggest year yet!

What are KTP Days?

  • Raise Awareness: Share your Club’s impact and attract local attention.

  • Build Membership: Engage with your community to inspire new members.

  • Strengthen Support: Gain recognition and support for your projects and initiatives.

Why Participate?

How to Get Started

Plan Your KTP Day Event: Brainstorm with your Club to decide what type of event fits your community best.

  1. Leverage Resources: OLSHF can provide promotional materials and support to help make your event a success.

  2. Share Your Story: Document your event with photos, videos, and testimonials to inspire others and showcase your Club’s impact.
